How we handle your data
This page is maintained by the Sasquatch Nations team to answer common security and privacy questions about this site. It describes the controls that are in place today and will be updated as the project evolves.
What this site does
Sasquatch Nations is a marketing site for an upcoming open world survival RPG. It lets visitors watch the trailer, read about the game, optionally answer a short survey, and optionally join the mailing list to hear about updates.
What data we collect
- Mailing list: the email address you submit and the page it was submitted from. Provided voluntarily.
- Survey responses: the email address you submit and the answers you give to the survey questions. Provided voluntarily.
- Admin accounts: a small number of team members sign in to manage the survey. Authentication uses email and password.
We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking pixels on this site.
How that data is protected
- Submissions are stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security enabled. Public visitors can only insert their own submission; reads are restricted to authenticated administrators.
- The admin dashboard is gated behind email/password sign-in and an explicit admin role. Role membership is enforced in the database, not just in the UI.
- Submitted data is validated both in the browser and again on the server before it reaches the database.
- All traffic to this site is served over HTTPS.
Hosting and subprocessors
This site is built and hosted on the Lovable platform, which uses Supabase for database, authentication, and storage. These are the only subprocessors that handle data you submit here. This page describes app-owner practices and is not a Lovable-issued certification or independent audit.
Retention and deletion
Mailing-list and survey data is kept while the project is active so we can act on the feedback and follow up about the game. If you would like your email address or survey response deleted, contact us using the address below and we will remove it.
